The Le Muse Ensemble is a musical institution par excellence, combining virtuosity, interpretive sensitivity, and an original artistic approach. It is an all-female instrumental ensemble, founded in 2007 by Maestro Andrea Albertini, composed of musicians trained at Italy’s most prestigious conservatories (Milan, Turin, Genoa, and Parma). Their career has since been enriched with masterclasses at top-level institutions, including the Accademia Musicale Fiesolana, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, and the Prix de Virtuosité in Geneva.
The ensemble’s members have also gained solid professional experience at Italy’s leading opera houses, collaborating with venues such as the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Teatro Regio in Turin, La Fenice in Venice, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. This operational background gives the group a particular focus on narrative dimension and emotional intensity, essential elements for best conveying the expressive power of Ennio Morricone’s compositions, conceived with a profoundly cinematic edge.
The Ensemble Le Muse’s repertoire, entirely conceived and arranged by Maestro Albertini for this specific group, has been performed in the world’s most important concert halls. The ensemble’s versatility—capable of ranging from a quartet to a full symphonic ensemble—allows the production to adapt to different contexts and spaces, always maintaining consistency and artistic quality.
Over the years, the ensemble has been chosen to represent Italian music at major cultural and institutional events. In July 2015, it officially inaugurated the Italian Presidency of the European Union with concerts at the Auditorium of the Ankara Conservatory and Palazzo Venezia in Istanbul, and in the same year it performed at the Italian Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015. In February 2017, it performed for the Dante Alighieri Foundation in Monaco in the presence of the Monegasque royal family, and in June 2017, it participated in a benefit concert at the Reggia di Venaria, sponsored by the Elkann family.
Maestro Andrea Albertini is the creative soul of Inside Morricone , a project born from the encounter between decades of musical experience, a profound knowledge of Ennio Morricone’s compositional language and an extraordinary ability to tell audiences, in an engaging way, the stories behind works that have entered the collective memory.
Born in 1966, he graduated in piano from the prestigious “N. Paganini” Conservatory in Genoa , under the guidance of Maestro Danilo Macchioni . His training was then enriched through organ and choral conducting studies at the Diocesan School of Sacred Music in Tortona with Maestro G. Scappini , in-depth studies in piano accompaniment with Maestro R. Cognazzo , and studies in orchestral conducting at the Pescarese Music Academy with Maestro Antonio Cericola , continuing at the Conservatory of Alessandria with Maestro Paolo Ferrara .
Throughout his career, Maestro Albertini has collaborated with some of the most important voices in Italian opera, including Piero Cappuccilli , Katia Ricciarelli , and Giorgio Zancanaro . He has performed in highly prestigious venues, from the Teatro dell’Arte in Milan to the Sala Grande of the Luxembourg Conservatory , Milan Cathedral , and numerous international festivals dedicated to the Verdi repertoire.
In 2007, he conceived and founded the Ensemble Le Muse , creating original arrangements that would form the basis of the Inside Morricone project . The constant pursuit of artistic excellence and the dedication to promoting Morricone’s work have led the production to receive significant recognition, including the High Patronage of the Italian Republic , as well as official invitations to diplomatic and cultural events of international importance.
As conductor of Inside Morricone , Maestro Albertini combines two fundamental dimensions: he directs the musical performance from the piano and, at the same time, leads the audience through a narrative rich in context, emotion, and detail, revealing the historical and human dimension that inspired some of the most famous film scores. His narrative style transforms each concert into an immersive experience, capable of bringing the magic of great music to life through images.

Susanna Rigacci, a Swedish-born Italian soprano, occupies a truly unique place in contemporary classical music: she is recognized worldwide as the voice that gave identity to Ennio Morricone’s most celebrated soundtracks. Her intense and unmistakable vocals in Sergio Leone’s masterpieces— The Good, the Bad and the Ugly , Once Upon a Time in the West , and A Duck, You Sucker !—have become an integral part of the cinematic experience, inseparable from the images themselves.
Raised in a highly prestigious musical environment—her father, Bruno Rigacci, was a renowned Florentine composer and conductor—Susanna completed her studies at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence. She then honed her technique with two legendary singers, Gina Cigna and Iris Adami Corradetti, winning first prize in the 1985 Sängerförderungspreis competition at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Her career has taken her to the stages of major international theaters, including Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, the Verona Arena, the Rome Opera House, Venice’s La Fenice, New York’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and Paris’s Opéra Comique, among many other prestigious venues. A multilingual, she performs fluently in six languages and boasts a broad and versatile repertoire, spanning Italian Baroque, bel canto, and contemporary music.
Since 2001, she has been the go-to interpreter of Ennio Morricone’s music, both in concert and in the studio, participating in international tours under the Maestro’s direct guidance. This rare and unique artistic partnership continued until Morricone’s passing in 2020. Since then, Susanna Rigacci has continued to preserve and perpetuate his musical legacy, choosing targeted collaborations that meet her high standards of authenticity and interpretive quality.

Daniela Placci is an Italian singer, performer, and artist active in the contemporary music and theater scene. Her career has developed along an eclectic path that combines voice, performance, and stage performance , exploring various genres and artistic languages.
Originally from Emilia-Romagna and linked to the Asti cultural scene, Placci has consolidated her experience in the world of music and theatre through numerous live shows , recitals and productions in which she combines vocal interpretation and stage presence.
She is known for her performance and starring role in musical-theatrical shows with a strong narrative character, such as Io sono Mina —a recital dedicated to the famous Italian singer Mina in which she combines singing and scenic narration accompanied by live musicians—and other similar projects that explore great figures of twentieth-century song.
Placci has also collaborated with musical groups such as The Blue Dolls , a vocal trio specializing in swing and vintage harmonized repertoire, contributing with her voice to the group’s evolution and to their performances in Italian and international theaters and festivals.
Alongside her performing career, she also participates in jazz and contemporary music events and festivals, including concerts included in programs such as AstiJazz, where she performs with live ensembles exploring both classical and innovative repertoire.
